ERA-NET Co-fund

TRANSCAN-3: Sustained Collaboration of National and Regional Programmes in Cancer Research

Duration: 2021-2026

Objective

TRANSCAN-3 is following the successful projects TRANSCAN (2011-2014; FP7) und TRANSCAN-2 (2014-2020; H2020). In the framework of the first two periods, 7 calls for proposals were implemented spending 85M€ in transnational cancer research. TRANSCAN-3 has been funded as an ERA-Net Co-fund by the EC with the main aim to continue the transnational coordination in cancer research in Europe. A co-funded joint transnational call (JTC) was launched in 2021 followed by additional JTCs that will be implemented in a frame of multinational translational cancer research programmes.
